YOUR BUSINESS, MOVING FORWARD

Local discovery starts
with the right details.

A customer may see your hours, services and phone number before visiting your website. A useful profile helps them understand whether you are the right business to contact.

Outdated hours or contact details?

Keep your real business name, phone, website, opening hours and service coverage consistent, including special hours when your schedule changes.

Services difficult to understand?

Choose relevant categories and describe the work you actually provide. Give customers useful details without adding unrelated services or locations.

Unsure whether your business qualifies?

Start with eligibility and ownership. We review your real operating model before recommending a profile setup or changes.

WHAT WE WORK ON

A useful profile.
Careful ongoing management.

We connect accurate information, relevant content and practical follow-up around the way your business serves customers.

01

Eligibility and profile review

Review whether you meet Google’s requirements for an in-person business, then check existing profiles, ownership and access. Online-only businesses and lead-generation businesses are not eligible for a profile.

Eligibility · ownership · existing profiles

02

Verification guidance

Explain the verification steps Google offers for your business and help you prepare accurate evidence. You remain involved as the business owner; Google decides the method and outcome.

Owner involvement · evidence · clear next steps

03

Accurate business information

Maintain the name customers know, relevant categories, contact details and hours. Describe your actual services and service areas. Use an address only when it meets Google’s requirements.

Business details · categories · service coverage

04

Photos and useful updates

Use genuine photos and helpful updates to show your work, premises or team with permission. Keep information current so customers can understand what you offer before contacting you.

Real photos · useful updates · current information

05

Review response support

Help you ask customers for honest feedback and respond thoughtfully. Review requests must be fair: no paid reviews, incentives or selective requests that filter out unhappy customers.

Honest feedback · considered responses · trust

06

Profile monitoring and review

Review available profile performance, customer interactions and suggested edits. Explain changes, flag information that needs your input and agree practical improvements over time.

From business details
to a useful conversation.

Your profile should reflect how your business really works and help customers take an informed next step.

01

Confirm the foundation

Understand where and how you serve customers. Check eligibility, your existing profile and the access needed before making changes.

02

Make the profile useful

Refine the relevant details, categories and service information. Add genuine photos and updates that answer customer questions.

03

Keep it current

Review changes and available customer interactions. Keep hours and contact routes up to date as your business evolves.

MEANINGFUL PROGRESS

Understand the activity.
Choose the next improvement.

Available Google Business Profile data can show actions such as website clicks, call-button clicks and direction requests. These are signals of interest, not proof of completed calls, visits or sales. We use them alongside your business feedback to guide the next step.

  • Are customers finding accurate details?
  • Which profile actions show interest?
  • What questions need a clearer answer?

Unsure about eligibility or your current setup?

Tell us how you serve customers. We’ll discuss the right starting point before proposing changes.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Understand eligibility, ownership and what profile management can realistically achieve.

Is my business eligible for a profile?

Google generally requires in-person contact with customers during stated hours. Storefront and service-area businesses can qualify when they meet its rules. Online-only and lead-generation businesses do not qualify. We review your operating model before recommending a setup.

Can I use a virtual office or add cities to my name?

Your profile must represent your real business. We do not use fictitious offices or add keywords and city names unless they are genuinely part of your recognised business name. Address and service-area settings must follow Google’s requirements.

Can you guarantee verification or a Maps ranking?

No. Google controls verification and local rankings. We help you prepare accurate information and follow the available process, but cannot promise approval, reinstatement, a particular position or a number of enquiries.

Should my home address appear publicly?

If you visit customers and do not serve them at your business address, Google requires you to hide that address. We review whether your business is a storefront, service-area or hybrid operation and apply the appropriate settings.

Do I keep ownership of my profile?

Yes. Your business should retain ownership. We agree the access needed for the work and use appropriate manager access where available. You do not need to share your Google account password.

What do you need to get started?

Share your business name, website, main services, service areas and any existing Google profile link. We discuss eligibility, goals and current access, then agree the proposed work before beginning.
